Often the question arises as to where our electric scooters and motorcycles are manufactured. We understand the reason for the question because of the notorious reputation that some Chinese manufacturers have for building deficient products due to extremely poor quality control. It is a most logical concern and curiosity that buyers have all over the world, including the United States, to know where vehicles are built before buying. Our awareness of this reality has prompted us to clarify our particular case so that you can become better acquainted with EVTAMERICA and its products.

WHERE WE ASSEMBLE OUR MOTORCYCLES AND WHY
EVTAMERICA is definitely NOT an American company that goes to China to contract another factory (a Chinese Factory) to build motorcycles on its behalf and then exports them for sale to the USA or other international markets. In other words, we are not brokers.
EVTAMERICA assembles motorcycles by carefully sourcing components from more than twenty vendors from around the globe and bringing them together in a depot (warehouse facility) in Hunan, China leased and operated by EVTAMERICA. EVTAMERICA employees including workers, technicians and engineers, all under direct American supervision, perform the assembly process. All parts and manufacturing processes meet strict U.S. quality control standards. The Director of production at the EVTAMERICA facility in China is an American. He is also one of the owners of the Company.

PRODUCT DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY
If someone asks, is this a Chinese product? The answer is that it is a product assembled in China. Why China? The answer is first and foremost, for financial reasons; labor has a much lower cost, but also because technicians in China are well educated, highly qualified, motivated and very hard working. Nevertheless, for all intent and purpose EVTAMERICA is in reality assembling in China an electric motorcycle designed and conceived in America. That would be the best way to answer the question.

The company’s commitment to quality is instantly recognizable. Sourcing by EVTAMERICA is worldwide and components come from wherever the best can be found, the USA, Canada, and Europe. Unmistakably our motorcycles are assembled in China but stamped with USA quality control. The lower labor cost allows us to sell our motorcycles at the lowest possible price making it an excellent buy for anyone who purchases. EVTAMERICA could not afford to sell its electric bikes at current prices offered if we did not pass on to our buyers the savings of assembling our products in China.

Before finally going into production back in 2007, EVTAMERICA had invested prior years and significant funds in research and development, product design and technology. It was a long (in years), difficult and expensive road that we had to travel. This was done mostly in the United States and in Canada. In the United Sates in our own facilities in Miami, Florida and in Canada at Navitas Technologies, Ltd in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. The references do not include technicians and consultants hired by EVTAMERICA all over the USA, Canada and Germany.

THE BUSINESS
Electric Vehicle Transportation of America, Inc., (d.b.a. EVTAMERICA) is designing, developing, manufacturing, marketing and selling electric-powered motorcycles (or motor scooters) now, principally in the United States, but simultaneously creating the marketing infrastructure to do the same in all European countries as well as other carefully selected world markets such as Canada, Brazil, and Australia.

The company has been in the making for approximately eight years. The first years as an international distributor of electric vehicles and later with the founders investing their own funds to develop top quality, reliable, price competitive all electric transport vehicles. In the United States, we are now aggressively developing a dealer/repair center network to provide sales as well as service and maintenance. Right now EVTAMERICA is in negotiation with sixty (60) potential dealers and repair centers having already added roughly a dozen to the EVTAMERICA dealer/repair center network, as published on the EVTAMERICA official website.
