ABOUT THE Z-20a ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE
Having made its appearance in the US Market at the end of 2007 after numerous transformations and noteworthy innovations, EVTAMERICA proudly presented the Z-20a, a State of the Art two-wheeled All Electric motorcycle. This electric vehicle, manufactured by EVTAMERICA, powered by a 2500-watt 60-volt brushless hub motor, is capable of reaching a speed of approximately 45 miles per hour (equivalent to 72 kilometers per hour)*. Factoring technical breakthroughs with the experience and understanding of market demands and requirements in the United States, the Z-20a is debatably the most noteworthy electric vehicle to appear in the United States market in 2007. This model was the pioneer model of the EVTAMERICA manufacture. The 60-volt 2500-watt brushless hub motor is far more reliable, powerful and efficient (87%-92% efficiency rating) than any other electric motor used to date on any two wheeled electric vehicle built.
WHERE WE ASSEMBLE OUR MOTORCYCLES AND WHY
EVTAMERICA is not a company that goes to China to contract another factory to build its motorcycles. EVTAMERICA builds (actually assembles) its motorcycles by carefully sourcing components and bringing them together in a depot (facility) in China, leased by and for EVTAMERICA. The assembly process is done by EVTAMERICA employees including workers, technicians and engineers; all under USA on site supervision.
So when someone asks, is this a Chinese product? The answer is that it is a product assembled in China. Why China? The answer is first and foremost, for financial reasons; labor has a much lower cost, but also because technicians are highly qualified and hard working. However, it must be noted that sourcing by EVTAMERICA is worldwide and components come from wherever the best can be found. Unmistakably our motorcycles are assembled in China but stamped with USA quality control. The lower labor cost allows us to sell our motorcycles at the lowest possible price making it an excellent buy for anyone who purchases.
THE FUTURE OF EVTAMERICA
The future holds great promise and countless improvements. Our first production has taught us where our weaknesses lie and what to concentrate on to improve our vehicles and make them more reliable. Engineers and manufacturers continue to work together for EVTAMERICA to create a more powerful brushless hub motor and a more reliable controller. The resulting innovations will be incorporated to our vehicles as soon as they are developed and tested. Once again our goal and purpose is guaranteed functionality and reliability with the rationalization of electric power.
WHAT THE Z-20 AND R-20 ARE AND ARE NOT
The Z-20 and the R-20 are the ideal commuter vehicle to have. The 10 inch wheels (rim) and 3.5 inch wide tires provide traction and stability; the front and rear disc brakes, security; the double front and rear shock absorbers, steadiness; the longer seat, comfort; the added power, security and reliability. The Z-20 and the R-20 are not racing vehicles although capable of reaching a maximum speed of approximately 45 miles per hour (equivalent to 72 kilometers per hour)*. We feel that it is perfect to commute, to go back and forth to work, to go to the store, to comfortably park anywhere, to enjoy a silent ride, to save on gas, to feel free and clean. The Z-20 and the R-20 recharge batteries with the use of a state of the art charger exclusively made for EVTAMERICA by the Canadian Company Soneil. The charger is part and parcel of your purchase. You may plug the charger to any AC standard electric outlet anywhere in the world. There is an incorporated adapter for different kinds of current. Our charger will turn off automatically when the batteries are fully charged. |
